I have a fairly large sliver of glass in the sole of my foot. What should I do about it? This is not a joke. ?
Do I leave it in and see a dr? or take it out and put pressure? I'm not sure how long the shard is, but theres a 1/2 inch sticking out. It's pretty thick also. Thanks.

I suggest you leave it in and go see a doctor. If you take it out by yourself, there might be smaller fragments of glass which you might miss and applying pressure might push those bits further into the flesh. Try to stay off that foot as much as possible and go to see a doctor immediately.

my son had a small spelk in his toe we thought nothing of it but wiyhin a few hours he was in extreme pain and he began to get the line of septcemia going up his leg. we took him to hospital they x rayed it and gave him antibiotics. go to hospital if you try to get it out very tiny pieces may still remain.
