I have a problem with my dentures....?
I got new dentures a few months ago. Everything healed up fine, and they look great! The only problem is that I still have a problem pronouncing certain words. Is there something my dentist can do to my dentures to make my speech patterns better. I work in radio, and I really need to have my flawless diction back. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Talk to your dentist about it. Sometimes, they can make adjustments to the acrylic (pink part) or the teeth. They may be bulkier than what your tongue is used to. Usually, your speech should adapt within a week. A little at a time can be removed to see how you do. Good luck. If your dentist tells you there's nothing to be done, seek another opinion.
