How do I say thank you??
To all our VETERANS AND CURRENT MILITARY PERSONEL and the families of those that are still fighting or have left a legacy of their life on the battlefields of war, Thank You for what you do, Thank You for being where you are now and where you were then. Had you not fought for us we might be speaking another language today. And life with all our freedoms that we take for granted and enjoy without a second thought,( Indeed we expect these Rights and many more), would not be.
GOD BE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES
you are so right.
I send care pkg to our fighting men and women in Afghanistan. Bagram AFB. I have a sister there, she is due home soon, but I will continue to send them care pkgs.
the above statement was a response to Navy Vet.(just so no one wonders why I posted it )
the same above statement is for Mr Puma
Thank you.
The care pkgs I send are sent on a regular basis. I take in donations of $$$$, food clothing, and I spend most of my $$$ on things I know the military doesn't supply. These are things I've been told (by my soldiers) that they need or would like to have.
So I might send a case or a pkg or whatever I can afford. Many times no one will donate Anything, so I pay for everything. If you would like to become a part of this effort on your own please email me. You can do this without another organization, You can be the organization(just as I am) . It is totally up to the individualI send as many as 20+ pkgs out per month. I started out with one and well, .....

You just did... But how we say thank you to the veterans the best is by continuing to stand up here at home for what the veterans have stood against in battlefields for us... May God bless you, too...

You are more than welcomed.
A little extra something to chew on:
"Caring for a dead veteran is easy...bring a wreath, say a few words and walk away. Caring for a living veteran requires time, money and a life-long commitment. Every Veterans Day our politicians show they don't know the difference as they visit a cemetery instead of a VA hospital."

I desire to mention that I am a USAF veteran with 21+ years in and nonetheless going powerful. I had been in nearly each and every clash due to the fact that Panama and it's continually satisfactory to listen to the standard public thank us army contributors. What I could like to mention is that with out the help of our nation we could be not anything. So I desire to thank each and every and each person of you that helps the humans within the army!! If you experience your freedom; thank a army member... If you'll be able to learn this; thank a instructor...

One way is just the way you did. See a veteran and say thank you.
Two other very good ways is to donate and support the USO at www.uso.org. Another good website to look at is www.americasupportsyou.mil.
