If you need a registry cleaner/repairer then I highly recommend this one:
http://www.chemtable.com/organizer.htm
It costs $39.95 but I can guarantee you that it does work and does all that it says.
It was recommended to me by a computer technician who builds and repairs systems all day every day.
I had a major problem with Quicktime and iTunes and it fixed it.
It does much more than CCleaner can do.

Ccleaner is a good freeware tool for cleaning the HD and fixing registry errors
I would say just stick with Ccleaner but if you want a paid registry cleaner use
Registry Mechanic by Pctools

Yes. I have it installed on this PC. Works OK.
