Anybody has a recipe for making kuih bongkong?

I am longing to eat this banana wrapped kuih but can`t get a good one here in Singapore.

correction should read "Wrapped in banana leaf"

Fellow Yammers, should I follow Gindy`s and Bean`s suggestion or are they both trying to be naughty? My mum will pensan if she read their recommendations.

    cook with hippo's meat and some cherries

    Try adding some Chinese Cherries as a sweet alternative to Bananas

    BQ...in Spore we call it kueh jongkong

    ..happens to be one of my feveretest...mmmmmmm....

    ..FYI...tis is a seasonal kueh...i only see it during Ramadhan.....maybe you go to Geylang Serai the food courts...u can buy....msg me if have..coz i oso cannot firnd it inn Woodlands...
