Is there any free soft ware (like OCR text-bridge) to convert a scanned document into text file?

It is not necessary that it should be exactly like OCR text bridge but it must convert the scanned file into text file.

Try http://www.simpleocr.com./ I have used it a long time ago (actually bought their SDK). I think it supports TIFF to text.

Try this one. This a web site , not a program so you don't have to install anything. Makes a good job with OCR. Best of all it's free.
