Anyone experiencing a problem with Firefox update to v. 3.0.4?
Since updating to Firefox 3.0.4 on my XP, I have a severe slowdown accessing websites, including my Yahoo email. Anyone else?
I'm not sure if it's encouraging or discouraging to know you all are experiencing the same thing. I even did an uninstall, complete with deleting my personal folders (Firefox profiles) and then reinstalled. It worked fine for little while. I guess I'm going to see if I can downgrade to the previous version, at least until they fix the bugs. I'll let you know if that solved my Firefox problem.
Pythonpoole, that's interesting info. I'm going to look it up. thanks!

I couldn't even get Firefox v. 3.0.4 to work. After I installed it, it crashed every time I tried to open Mozilla. I had to reinstall v. 2.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I have noticed a slowdown. It also has developed a cute little trick of refusing to respond, generally when I haven't submitted the long answer I've just typed or haven't finalized the long list of items I was about to purchase, etc. (or is that just a persecution complex?), and having to be completely shut down and restarted. Then, all my work has suddenly become practice. After all, who doesn't relish the thought of doing the same thing twice?
Oh, the joys of technology!

I also noticed a slowdown, that is why I have installed minefield (soon to be the next version of FF) which is quite fast and also regularly use Google Chrome.
