Help me please get rid of these pop ups!?

I keep getting pop ups from a WiniGuard saying my computer is being threatened by EverAd. Any ever hear of these? How do I get rid of both of them? I tried AdAware and that didn't seem to work.

Use Avira for anti-virus software if you dont have a good or updated AV http://www.free-av.com/ its the best and uses little system resources.

Run these two programs to clean up temp and cache files

    CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/ and Cleanup! http://www.stevengould.org/index.php?opt...

Then rid your system of spyware and malware with these:

Get Malwarebytes Anti-Malware http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Ant... Its a small free download and scans very quick and removes all sorts of nasty spyware and malware.

Also use Spybot http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-am... Its free also but takes longer to scan. Also when done scanning do the Immunization it will prevent alot of these problems from ever coming back.

After using these programs your PC should speed up quite a bit and be very stable and infection free.

I suggest using Firefox http://www.getfirefox.com/ its faster and safer than Internet Explorer. After installing Firefox get Adblock Plus http://adblockplus.org/en/installation -- its a plugin for Firefox that blocks an insane amount of popups and in page advertising.

It's a malware infection caused by a rogue program that infects users computers and finds non-existent problems in a bid to get users to purchase the fake software.

Use the following free programs, download, install, update and reboot into Safe Mode to remove:

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

    Select Full Scan.

Remove all infections that it finds after scan.

    SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition:

    http://www.superantispyware.com/downloadfile.html?...

Select Scan your Computer, select your drive and select Perform Complete Scan and remove infections, then click on Preferences, click Repairs Tab and click on any of the System and Browser Repair Items that you may have problems with then click Perform Repair.

SmartGenie 2 is an awesome tool bar (so I've heard from the reviews) that includes a pop-up blocker

This is a company that wants you to buy their product. DO NOT GO CLICKIE ON THESE WINDOWS. Go to your internet browser's settings and click on the checkbox that says block pop up windows.
