Striving toward learning a language so you can truly understand the Qur'an and the words of the messenger of Allah is rewarding.

"innovations will begin when the Arabic language is lost" - Imam Ash Shafi'

  • seeking knowledge is also a sunnah :)

you get rewarded for the smallest things, and learning the language of the qu'ran is no small thing...of course it's sunnah

speaking? idk...but reading and understanding the meaning would def. help as most islamic things are arabic-centered, ya?
