What are you doing this Christmas?

To help others this Christmas?

This is a pretty tough year for many, but helping others when you hurt does make you feel better.

What are you doing, or planning to do, to help others this Christmas?

Are you; volunteering, collecting money, donating, what?

Please be specific.

I pulled some of the tree wishes, but really found it appalling that a 3 yr old wanted a elmo live at a cost of $59.99, would much rather spend that on food and give it to a food bank.

The store I work at has already had a few things that we as staff do for the local people.

I am giving a friend, who is out of work and not getting food stamps, the money I usually give to a soup kitchen or other charity at Christmas.,so that he can buy the food for his Christmas dinner himself.

I received a call from my son last night that his classmate will be homeless. We will be taking in the classmate. I am now scrambling to get whatever I can to help this young person to feel part of the family despite the cruelty of his own.
