why would my yahoo inbox get deleted ?

there are major problems in the Yahoo world. It has been going on for days. You can access your Yahoo mail in a bare bones fashion by going here: http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail or: http://de.m.yahoo.com/p/mail or: http://uk.m.yahoo.com/p/mail

Try this and see if it finds your email. If not, Yahoo may have deleted it if you have not accessed your account for 120 days.

The same thing has happened to me. In fact, I think I caught it in the middle of deleting my inbox. I checked the inbox, and there were only around 20 messages. Checked back in an hour, and the whole inbox was deleted. I check this email around 3 times to 5 times a day, so there must be a yahoo issue.

p.s. All the other mail folders are intact. the SPAM is fine, and so is the Drafts. among other folders.

I have had Yahoo mail since the late 90's. I managed the account deleting emails I did not want. I lost my inbox mail dated from April of 2013 and back from their. How can I get that mail with the attachments back?

Have you not been on it for a along time? because i know most times when you dont goo on it for 120days i think. it deletes?
