24 hour drive thru at McDonald's?

I had this problem last night at a Burger King in Louisiana. The store itself had drive through open 24 hours over the windows, but someone came on and said drive through was closed. This was on a Saturday night at a little after midnight.

Unfortunately because of how advertising is done just because there is a sign near your house, it doesn't Necessarily mean that it applies to your nearest McDonald's. There is a sign just before the exit to a McDonald's I worked at in Indiana, however the sign applied to the stores belonging to the Indianapolis, Indiana district. The McDonald's I worked at was with the Dayton, Ohio district because we were so close to the Indiana/Ohio state line. Now I work in North Dakota.

I would call your local McDonald's during the day and ask about the drive through.

However since they are coming on the speaker I'd say they are open and just not taking your order which is a big wrong. If they were closed nobody would have a headset on to talk to you in the first place.

My local McDonald's is open 24/7. They are so busy that when they rebuild the store, they installed TWO Drive Thru lanes. I've never been turned away, even in the wee hours of the morning. Maybe you got there when they were closing early for Christmas Eve.

A McDonald's near my house advertises a 24-hour drive thru, but sometimes when I pull up to the speaker late at night, they tell me they're closed and won't say why. Does this happen to people at other locations?

SuzieQ ALL McDonald s installed two Drive Thru Lanes,not only your s,it has nothing to do with being busy because i went to 3 different ones yesterday Night and all three advertised falsely that the drive thru was open by having Lights on and no one even responded after i waited.Usually it takes 5 seconds after i pull to the drive thru to get my order done. And no one was at 2 of the 3 drive thrus,except at the third location there was that Latin guy who also waited to get a respond from the drive thru service,he was parallel to me with his car but also got zero response. That was at 11:35ish pm last Night.I was saaad haha i wanted my Chicken Nuggets but i got none. I hope that answers the First person s question a bit as well.

I never had that problem if they say they are open 24 hours they should be open 24 hours. Unless the people working there are lazy and need a break! Call and complain.

The one near my place is only 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays. That might be it for you?
