Yeah I believe so. I had a friend with really short nails and the manicurist just put complete fake nails on top of her nails, rather than just tips.

yeah, you can get the painted and like soaked in soapy water but it might hurt. getting them pained may help heres my story:

i bit my nails horribly.. not down to the nub.. but bad that there wasnt white and they bled sometimes and just hurt. i got mine done, they filed them a little to shape them, soaked them, and painted them. having them painted in this like bright pink wanted me to keep them perfect and not ahve the nail polish chip, and the color on my nails made me realize i was biting them b.c i could c the color. so i wore the nail polish 4 a week and didnt bite them for a week. miraculoulsy i just got out of the habit in a week and i havent bit them sense. this was in sept. btw so ik what im talking about.

ya! just grow them out a little, and they will file, and shape them so they look nice, just dont get a French manicure, that would look a little weird. you could also always get fake nails
