my period is almost two weeks late!!?
Okay, so I am only 14 and I HAVE NOT EVER HAD SEX SO I AM DEFINITELY NOT PREGNANT!!!!!! But my period is almost two weeks late according to my regular cycle. I have been having a period since i was 12. Is it normal to be two weeks late sometimes? If not, what is wrong with me? I'm pretty worried. Any help is much appreciated. No sarcastic remarks please.
still no period yet!

Ahaha. Chill out hon! I know what you're dealing with. My period came late once and I was like, crying for days beforehand. I was like, "I HAVEN'T HAD SEX MOM, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME!?" It could be a possibility of reasons as to why your period is late.
Since it's been only two years since your first period, it's pretty normal for your period to skip around.
Are you sick? God might be taking mercy on you if you are. ;)
Stressed? That's a period stopper too.
Nothing is wrong with you, darling. :)

Seeing as how you're still so young, it's normal for your period to be late sometimes. I'm 24 years old and my period still isn't on a regular schedule. Especially since you've never had sex, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. If it really annoys you, you could go to the gynecologist and, after an exam, she could give you birth control to regulate your cycles. If you're not ready to go that route, just rest assured that it's completely normal for your period NOT to be on time each month.

Did you take another pregnancy test yet? It doesn't always show up positive right after your missed period. I don't know if swollen gums have anything to do with that. I haven't heard of that one before.

Calm down.
Many things can delay your period, and it's perfectly normal to skip sometimes. I certainly do.
Stress and weight loss are examples of things that can mess with your cycle. It's nothing to worry about.
If you continue to miss for a few months, THEN you might consult a doctor.

I am late too but I do not believe I am pregnant either (haven't had sex in about 4-5 months). Being late isn't a bad thing usually....it's just sometimes how your body reacts to environmental things (weather, etc.), stress, etc. It should come eventually.

What is going on with you is normal. Your body is just still getting use to your hormones. It is normal for your period to be late. It will come!
