10g Tank. Need ideas on what to put in it.?

I have a 10 gallon tank. It's cycled, filtered, and heated. The only current resident is one female beta. I could use some ideas on what to put in there with her as she looks so lonely. Has to be something that won't nip her fins, as that's why she's in there. My a couple of my tetras didn't want to play nice with her.

Any ideas are welcome. :)

Update:

Female Bettas are not aggresive. She is very docile. Since she was in a tank with other fish for about 3 months and never attacked any of them. She would still be in there with other fish if a couple of my tetras would play nice with her.

you can absolutely have other fish with her

it's a misconseption that they're not community fish

    here is a stocking suggestion

    your female betta

6 silver tipped tetras (schooling fish)

    3 platies

    3 cory cats (bottom feeders)

Get a pleco and another female betta. The pleco will stay at the bottom and the bettas will stay at the top. The only thing is there will be a space with no fish in the middle of your tank so you'll have to get some decorations to put in the middle.

10 gals tank isn't a very big tank but still nice to have a CAE or Catfish as Botton Eater to keep the tank clean.

i have a 10 gals tank with female Betta, Guppies, CAE in it...thay working out very well..

The Female Betta i have sometime show aggresive, But the Guppies and CAE can defances thamself.. so thay just play tag once a while.(the way i looking at)

But careful when u pick CAE(Chinese Algae Eater), when thay get bigger and older thay can become aggresive, (bigger and older means over 3in's) Thay will suck on any fishes big or small, i got mine was about alittle over 1 in's and now is 3 in's long..but still not showing any aggresives to any other fishes in the tank.1 is i am lucky or 2 thay havn't hit to the point yet!! still have to watch to find out. CAE Max size is 6 in's , but i never see any over 5in's long..

Catfish i have 6 corys in other tank with Angle fish..thay are very pacefully and stay small, i believe thay max out around 3 in's, thay won't even touch ur fish eggs..very lovely to have for botton feeders.

I hope all this helps good luck!

you're surprisingly constrained on fish strategies in this type of small tank. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that there are some issues you're able to desire to do - One dwarf gourami and the two frogs. - One betta and the two frogs - 3-4 guppies and the two frogs - Or no fish and get one extra frog (so an entire of three frogs) There are different fish yet they could be confusing to discover so i could persist with the fish above. stable success :]

corys are good. you can also put in guppies and platys. female bettas arn't as aggressive as males, but sometimes they can be..

Sorry but betas shouldn't be put in a tank with any other fish. They are very aggressive and if you ever put a mirror in front of them, you may notice they start start nipping.
