Whats wrong with my hand?

At first my fingers were shaky, mostly my thumb, now the inside of my palm hurts really bad, it feels like an eruption in my hand or like little pieces of glass cutting the inside (like i pulled something in my hand or something?)

Update:

no i hadn't been on the computer for like 12 hours before hand

also my fingers only shook when i curled them in toward my palm

This happens to me from time to time. This is what I do

I move make a fist, then move closed fist palm down and I bend wrist down, then up. I will also rotate wrist 360 degrees to right, then 360 degrees to left. I do this with both wrists. Matters not which you do first.

    Next:

I open both hands palms facing forward, (back of hand facing me)

I spread my fingers, and wiggle all eight fingers at same time.

Next, I curl my fingers on both hands, and flex thumbs in and out at same time.

I will also gently massage each wrist with opposite hand.

    This seems to help me.

sounds like you may have whats known as trapped nerve.unfortunately this does tend to be a pain in the neck.i don't know the cure for it but you have to seek medical advice on how to correct it before it causes permanent damage.what happens is the nerve underneath your skin moves on its own when it gets in an awkward motion and the nerve moves around your finger bone so that when you curl your fingers in your finger shakes, due to the fact its in an awkward position its nothing to worry about but go to the doctor to get it fixed.or it could just be a spasm if it persists see the doc.

you are probably just tired. You need to rest and drink plenty of water. I dont think you pulled a muscle because your hand would be swolen and purple.

do you play any instruments? if so they may be the cause, i play piano and this happens to me. I have to so some stretches and then im good.

but just in case you shoud go see a doctor, this could be serious and you could need some medical attention

    hope you feel better <(-^_^-)>

Did you contact it with some chemical or living animal? I know that some sea creatures can do that to a hand or arm - been in the ocean recently? Or, little metal shavings, fiberglass (from insulation).....

Aww, firstly i hope your hand feels better.

That happens to me a lot.

It might be because your hand is exhausted from typing too much.

Just let your hand rest, and you should rest yourself.

If your really worried, visit a doctor.

I would ask my mom, because she knows this kinda stuff more than i do, but shes not here.

Hope your hand feels better :)

Source(s): happened to me MILLIONS of time.

This could possibly be beginning stages of

    carpal tunnel syndrome

If the condition continues .. see a doctor

main thing... favor this hand,in the meantime... and find a way

to do repetitive tasks in different ways for a while...
