Beginner information on Buddhism?

Any books by Thich Nhat Hanh are an excellent way to start. I'd recommend his "Teachings of the Buddha" for starters, and if you like his writing you'll enjoy "The Miracle of Mindfulness" and "Peace is Every Step" which offer great tips on meditation and daily practices. I'd also look into books by the Dalai Lama and Lama Surya Das. Other than that, I would browse about the internet--a simple search of "Beginner Buddhist" brings up tons of great websites. But other than that it's a journey you'll have to begin yourself.

The basic Buddhist belief is well explained in the 'China Falun Gong' book. The Falun Gong practice is discussed in details in the Zhuan Falun Lecture.
