How can I get rid of my dead ends with an at home soution?
I have a severe bob very short in the back (sometimes called the Victoria Beckham haircut) I use a flat iron a lot, now in the very front where it is longer the ends are really getting fried. I went with this hair cut because it gave my hair a nice healthy look, but now it seems to be to much... I' m looking for a inexpensive at home remedy to help my roots are and most of my hair is fine it's just this one area!!!! My hair is color treated at home in a auburn color. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ... Thanks ahead of time for your help and happy new year!!!!!!

i use straighteners all the time too and certain parts of my hair are becoming really damaged. i use protective balms after i've washed my hair, before i blow dry it because whilst protecting it, it also helps to smoothe any split ends and make hair look healthier. ofcourse, the only way to really get rid of split ends is to have your hair cut. i use the 'mark hill- smooth, sleek, sexy and straight' kit. there's shampoo, conditioner, straightening balm, and straightening spray in it. it really works for me and it's not too expensive atall. hope this helps you :)

yes you have to snip them off at home but just the very ends so its unnoticeable, and if you want to prevent use heat protector, i really recommend aussie hair protector (available from e.g. boots) it works wonders!
and a leave in conditioner to help revitalize and keep your ends in good condition.
