I wish i knew...i have a naturally low sex drive...not on any medications but for some reason its just not there. i think its a hormone problem. maybe you can talk to your doctor and see if he can put you on some sort of hormone therapy to counteract the drugs that are decreasing your sex drive...or maybe they can try a different ocd drug on you and see if that helps

Bupropion is used a lot in the U.S.
Testosterone cream (see an OB/GYN) - this might be a harder prescription to get. Be sure to get the cream, no pills. Invest in a lot of wax.
Sometimes erectile dysfunction drugs are used, but they're expensive and even harder to get than testosterone cream.
Maybe some sort of stimulant. However, this could make your anxiety considerably worse.
Take the medication after you would normally have sex. So if pre-medication you normally had sex in the morning, take the pill right after you have sex. The idea is to have sex when the medication level is lowest in your body. You still need to take your medication at the same time every day, so this takes some of the spontaneity out of sex. But you may find that once you get started and don't have as much of that pesky drug in your system, it's easier.
Get very, very kinky. My therapist suggested this.

The info I just read on it on Wikipedia said it could cause sexual side effects in men. Of course, the SSRI drugs like prozac or zoloft used to emphasize male side effects when women get the side effects just as bad, so I don't know if there is just a bias there. You should ask your doctor & try another medication or try going without meds. If you have depression associated with your ocd, that can cause low sex drive too. Any SSRI drug will cause sexual side effects, probably much worse than the drug you are taking now. Also, SSNI's, I think they are called, which is cymbalta, effexor & pristiq, will cause sexual side effects, although SUPPOSEDLY less commonly than the SSRI's.
If it is the drug doing this, maybe you should try dealing with OCD thru therapy as best you can, or put up with the side effects for now as you are getting therapy, then try stopping them in a few months. It is so horrible - these drugs are a cruel help. I have really bad bipolar disorder & the only drug that has ever helped me was cymbalta, & it destroyed my sex life so I won't take it. So I suffer suicidal depression instead. My doctor kind of disrespected my choice too, so be ready for that possibility. But talk to them about it. It is a legitimate and common problem & most doctors will understand.

The obvious answer would be to discuss this with your healthcare professional...they may be able to prescribe you some alternative medication that doesn't have this effect. Either that or they may be able to prescribe you a weak aphrodisiac to help things along. Whatever happens I wouldn't recommend taking anything else unless the Doc has said you can.
Other than that I'm afraid it;s a case of coping. I was on Prozac for a year and pretty much had a negative sex drive...just had to live with it.

You can enjoy many other things like cuddling and kissing. Let me tell you something, I am a 26 year old male with NO sex drive and am perfectly happy with this. There is so much more to life than sex. I love cuddling!

See your psych to get on a better drug that has less negative consequences as this is the best advice I can offer. I'm on an anti psychotic that destroyed my sex drive. I have to work at it to get aroused and I fail often to do so. So see your psych and get better.

get yourself off the meds. and if you like taking the meds try some horny goat weed. sounds ridiculous but i swear to god it works lol its all natural and youll get the sex drive again.
but if you dont want to try that id suggest finding someone else because it may be your man, not the drugs, making you lose your sex drive, no offense. you sound like a good woman, so do what you feel will be best for you :)

You feed the fire that is burning up your sex drive with the drugs you take for ocd. You have no idea what the drug is doing do you, do you? You want to heal your cake and eat it at the same time.
