Acually, you can. It's not on the hard drive but, if you buy a SD card (doesn't matter what brand), insert it through either an mp3 player or a SD to usb connector, you can access it from the My Computer icon. If you have Wii photo channel 1.1, the only audio files you can play will be .m4p but if you have photo channel 1.0, you can play .mp3 and .m4p. You can tell what photo channel you have by highlighting it with your remote. If it says 'Photo Channel 1.1' you obviously have 1.1, but if it says 'Photo Channel' then you have 1.0. If you purchased your wii after mid-year 2007 then you will probably have 1.1. If you purchased after, you should have 1.0, unless you did a system update. If you did buy before mid-2007 and you have 1.1, go into Wii settings, once in settings, go to save data, go to channels, and delete the photo channel. NOTE: THIS WILL NOT GET RID OF YOUR PHOTO CHANNEL FOR GOOD. IT WILL JUST BRING IT BACK TO 1.0! Back to putting music on your card. If you have 1.1 drag and drop .m4p songs onto the SD card. If you have 1.0 drag and drop .mp3 or .m4p files to your SD card. Once they are on the SD card, unplug it. Insert the card into your wii via the SD slot. Power up your wii. Select the photo channel, select start. Once in, select the option that lets you view your photos, that are on your wii. Select slide show, push A, select music, and press the song you want. :) happy to help you. :)
