Whats a good excuse to miss work on New Years Eve?

I just got into a car accident. And I'm pretty well shaken up. Been at the hospital. They told me to get plenty of rest.

I could give you a plethora of excuses.

I could give you a myriad of ideas.

But, New's Years Eve is the only time of year none of them work.

This is the worst time in history to risk getting fired.

I am glad I am a worthless piece of crap and I never had a job.

Can you imagine the stress level all the world's employees are under right now?

All employers are slowly going under.

They are looking for any and every excuse to get you off the payroll to save money.

What a crappy world we have made.

Um, the dog ate my girl friends thong and I need to get him in for emergency exploratory surgery.... You would be surprised at how many dogs DO eat those things...LOL...

The car has a flat tire.

My grandmother is in the hospital, it doesnt look too good.

I was up sick all night last night, think something is going around....

I ran into the closet door, I think I may have broken my little toe... That actually happened to me when I was 16 years old....LOL..

Say a family member is in the hospital because they fell off their roof when they were taking down their Christmas decorations. Hope this helps!

you could say a family member is getting married and they want him and you to stay at the hotel for the night after their wedding do or that a family member is really ill so you have to go and stay in that part of the country where their hospital is...
