can the yellow,red,and white wires be use in the green, blue, and red ports?

im trying to hook up my u-verse box to my coby dvd-514 player and the dvd player to the tv btu the is not enough ports to do it

    NO: The Yellow/Red/White OUTPUT jacks of a device (dvd) cannot be connected to the green/blue/red INPUT jacks on another device (TV).

    Y/R/W = Composite video signal, Right channel audio, and Left channel audio

    G/B/R (RGB) = Component Video separated into 3 lines. Add additional Red and White cable for audio (5 cables total)

    NOTE: the RCA cables used with all of these video and audio signals are PHYSICALLY the same type of cables. So you can use the Y/R/W composite CABLES (Video and L/R Audio) to connect the Green,Blue,Red COMPONENT VIDEO instead. Each of the component video cables carry a COMPONENT of the Video signal only; you must also add a separate connection for audio (Red/White)
