Why do I keep getting an email that says Best Answer, over and over again for the same answer?

Glitch. The Yahoo! Answers team knows and is working on it. I just hope it will be fixed by the New Year...

We are aware of this issue and are working on the fix. Our apologies for the extra email and burden and we appreciate your patience.

Sorry to break this to you but it's happening to LOTS of us and you're probably the 200th person to waste 5 points asking about it.

Worse yet, there is no way for us to opt out of getting those "best answer" notices!! You can't just change your preferences like you can when you decide not to be notified that people answered your question or your contacts asked questions. We're all just stuck with the junk emails.

It's Yahoo Answer's latest glitch. (They get so many here, it's pitiful.) It's happening to lots of us. Very annoying!! For me, it started last night.

Now that I logged in again, yes, over 100 email messages all about the same 4 or 5 "best answers" that I've gotten in the last day.

But that's Yahoo for you, they are always having some sort of glitch or other. Welcome to yaHELL. Yahoo doesn't seem to be able to hire competent help or prevent these glitches so I guess we just have to tolerate it until they fix it. YaHELL indeed.

Yep, lots of us seem to have been having the same thing happen. Unfortunately, I had two Best Answers during that time period, so I'm gettig double the junk mail! And here, I thought I really had somehow gotten 49 Best Answers when I opened my email this morning.

Yes I have 3 such messages that keep coming . Now it up into the hundreds . Trouble is Yahoo off on the weekend . And I am not getting emails of my contacts questions .

Well, maybe Yahoo thinks your answer was THE VERY BEST EVER! :)

I think it is a glitch in the software because I also sometimes get it several times, and they were emailed at different times.

me too. i've gotten it about the same question about 20 times over the past couple days. glad they know and are working it though

yes i have that problem too... very annoying.. but their working on it, so we'll just be patient
