Can someone please help me with the FAFSA application?

I am currently filling out an online FAFSA application, and I'm a bit confused by something. Throughout the application, it asks me about the 2008-2009 school year and it says that I'm applying for aid during the 2008-2009 school year, when I'm actually applying for the 2009-2010 school year because that'll be my first year in college. I'm currently a high school senior for 2008-2009. This aspect of the application confuses me because I'm not sure if I have an outdated application form or what? Help please!

They will put the new form out in January for the coming school year. Way to be on top of things though.

i don't think of there is any might desire to state that she is deceased, from what I keep in mind of the FAFSA you ought to communicate with a financial help counselor at your college and clarify which you're for all intents and purposes an self reliant. apart from, would not having a based your self (a baby) qualify you as an self reliant filer in the 1st place? you may edit your FAFSA utility online, i could advise you amend the blunders after which communicate with financial help. you is in basic terms not denied help, i'm specific that is in basic terms a count of submitting the right papers.

Find an Educational Opportunity Center in your area and they can help you complete the entire application.
