How do I fix shaky videos with Kodak Easyshare Z1285?

every time I try to take a video, the camera shakes around trying to focus on whatever is moving (even when it's secure on a tripod). I've tried looking in the manual and online but can't find anything that helps.

    see if you can turn off the face detection
