This is a current glitch with Yahoo! Answers.

everyone today is receiving many duplicate Best Answer notifications.

Yahoo! staff know about the problem & are currently in the process of trying to fix it.

years in the past or no longer. via SVGirl | 7 hours in the past Yep comparable ingredient happening to me as properly - so a ways 12 notifications of ultimate answer to one question. via could | 6 hours in the past Yeah, i are transforming into a notification of being chosen through fact the ultimate answer each hour for in simple terms approximately 10 hours now, that is getting fairly tense. I in basic terms have been given the ten factors as quickly as, so that is no longer like that is giving me factors each and every time it sends me the flaws, which admittedly could be style of a spectacular computer virus, heh. yet the two way, that is in simple terms tense. Dx via anoneemuuse | 6 hours in the past Please verify the situations on the e-mails. Is all and sundry receiving them, for each BA, at approximately 40 minute periods? via Heather Y | 5 hours in the past that's what I got here to the communicate board to document. i'm as much as 7 ultimate answer emails on a million question so a ways. It became a "voted" ultimate answer and not a "chosen" ultimate answer if that facilitates the workers restoration it in any respect. via Julie | 5 hours in the past I see many Y/A contributors are having an identical concern. I do desire this gets mounted quickly. I do ask your self whether we can get notified, interior the intervening time, on any intervention to alleviate the e mail notifications. Heck, i'm drained, and in all likelihood making no experience. Take care.

Yes, this is the latest Yahoo glitch that everybody is experiencing. Yahoo is aware of the problem and is working on it. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. Too bad you don't get 10 points each time you get an email!

There has to be a glitch. I have been getting them all day and I am still getting them for the same 3 best answer. Mark it up as another yahoo glitch maybe they will get it fixed soon. Good luck!!!

Sorry to break this to you but it's happening to LOTS of us and you're probably the 200th person to waste 5 points asking about it.

Worse yet, there is no way for us to opt out of getting those "best answer" notices!! You can't just change your preferences like you can when you decide not to be notified that people answered your question or your contacts asked questions. We're all just stuck with the junk emails.

It's Yahoo Answer's latest glitch. (They get so many here, it's pitiful.) It's happening to lots of us. Very annoying!! For me, it started last night.

Now that I logged in again, yes, over 100 email messages all about the same 4 or 5 "best answers" that I've gotten in the last day.

But that's Yahoo for you, they are always having some sort of glitch or other. Welcome to yaHELL. Yahoo doesn't seem to be able to hire competent help or prevent these glitches so I guess we just have to tolerate it until they fix it. YaHELL indeed.
