I don't know of ANY lender that will even transfer your account to INTERNAL collections in less than a month. Most won't even report you overdue on your credit report for 30 days.
By the way, Toyota MAKES cars. Your loan is though a separate company, even if Toyota owns that company.

call your lender and acknowledge being late and assure them you will be up to date by ______ What ever date you promise make sure you adhere to it. Late fees and penalties will be added to the end of your loan but at least it will not be repossessed.
