How do I get a LimeWire shared file in my iTunes into my library so i can sync them to my iPod? ?
I have a few song in Lime Wire right now. I shared them and they're in iTunes under Shared. I want to add them to my library so that I can sync them to my iPod. But I want to add them so that they'll be under only one album. And then I can name that album and add album art so it will come up easier on my Cover Flow.
So pretty much I want to download all the songs from one CD in Lime Wire, then add it to my iTunes library, name it that CD, add the album art and have it come up as one CD on my iPod.
So someone please tell me how to to do that???
dragging and dropping does not work. i've tried it numerous times and i've had people tell me it doesn't work, so please don't recommend it.
too bad artist make little to nothing off CD's especially ones like Anti Flag.

go to limewire, click and hold the file you want then drag into itunes.
It does so work, you need to drag it to the itunes tab near the bottom then make sure you are on the music page then when the music list has a blue frame around it you drop it,
DO NOT TELL ME IT DOESN'T WORK BECAUSE THATS HOW I DO IT.
put some effort in and stop being lazy, use your brain (if you have one.).

Drag the songs from shared into the library.. edit the info and change the album so that they are all the same.. if you then use cover flow all the songs will be under that same album and album artwork you select.

Add them to your library (File, add file to library) and then make them a playlist. That is probably the easiest way to do it.
