You can definately die from an overdose on cocaine, and it diesnt matter how much you use, it matters about your body, cocaine makes the heart beat faster, and if it is your first time using then there is always the possibility that you can put your body and have a heart attack. I remember hearing about a basket ball player a while ago who was drafted into the NBA and he was a great player, and tried cocaine one time and dies immediately. Besides that fact if you dint die you always risk the chance of becoming addicted and I work in a rehab and I se eit every day, and it is very hard to come off of drugs once your addicted so I would think before you do it.

It may be a small line, but it can cause addiction and I know that everyone has heard about the effects of drugs, so why risk it. Would you want to know your child experimented?

What are the Effects of Cocaine?
Cocaine's effects appear almost immediately after a single dose, and disappear within a few minutes or hours. Taken in small amounts (up to 100 mg), cocaine usually makes the user feel euphoric, energetic, talkative, and mentally alert, especially to the sensations of sight, sound, and touch. It can also temporarily decrease the need for food and sleep. Some users find that the drug helps them to perform simple physical and intellectual tasks more quickly, while others can experience the opposite effect.
Short-term effects
Hyper energetic
Loss of appetite
Overly alert
Increased heart rate
Higher blood pressure
Constricted blood vessels
High temperature or fever
Dilated pupils
Long-term effects
Dependency
Irritable and restless
Depression or anxiety
Paranoid
Auditory hallucinations
Would you want that? I know someone that said they just wanted to try it one time and ya know what, he became majorly addicted to it and was out stealing and other things to get his fix. Just dont do it, it will save you a lot of money and you can better things with yourself

Yes. A small amount doesn't generally equal an overdose, though. A better idea is never sniffing cocaine to begin with.

According to the Merck Index, the Lethal dose that kills 50 percent of rats is 17.5 mg/kg. This means a 70 kg man would need approximately 1.2 grams for a 50% likely lethal overdose. (.0175 g/kg * 70 kg)

It all depends on your heart,One small line might be fatal with a preexisting heart condition,A very large amount can make the heart beat to fast and go into a quiver that doe's not pump blood, and you die,

yeah its drug abuse its like alcohol abuse lets put in a example your a kid and you drink a little beer then get a head ache for the first time drug abuse is the same and another example is your 21 in a bar for the first time. You get drunk and can't make the choice to continue or not but since beer is a little addictive (like drugs) they continue which then results to too much in your system which is a horrible way to pass on

You're actually more likely to OD the first time, because you body is not accustomed to it and often reacts badly... like by stopping your breathing or sending you into convulsions.
