Does Pre-Seed actually help with conception or is it just safe to use while TTC?

Yes it does help with conception. This is because the PreSeed identically mimics your body's cervical mucus which is what helps the sperm get through the cervix (that's the tricky part for his swimmers) and up into the tubes. CM is the perfect pH level for sperm -- better, in fact, than semen itself -- so they try and get out of the semen and into the CM (or in this case, PreSeed) as soon as they can. Also PreSeed and CM can help the sperm survive as long as 3 days in case you BD a few days earlier than ovulation.

Pre-seed helps the sperm get where it needs to go. Now does it guarantee pregnacy, I cant really say that it does. I have used it for 3 cycles, 2nd cycle ended with a chemical pregnancy and the 3rd I am on right now. As for the first, I think my timing was just off. But I think it does help cause some of us may not have an adequate amount of cm during ovulation and that is very important when trying to conceive. So would I say give it a try, Yes I think all it can do is help, but there is no guarantee.

This will be my 6th month ttc, but I am doing it the artificial way so that may have a major impact as well.

I got pregnant the very first month I started using pre-seed lubricant. And I was not even charting my ovulation. I was really rather surprised, because we only used it a couple of times and then decided to hold off any longer until my health returned to normal after being sick.

It helps the mobility of the sperm and helps them stay alive inside of you longer. I use PreConceive (the knock off brand of PreSeed - I bought it at Rite Aid) and got pregnant the second month I used it. Sadly that pregnancy ended in miscarriage.
