I would say that Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare is better online, but most people who have cod 4 are playing cod world at war or are going to get it. So if you get cod 4 you would be buying a dying game, but there are still many people playing cod 4

I prefer call of duty for because it has more modern weapons, and better sights. If you like older weapons, then call of duty 5 is off the charts too but sights are a pain for mee.
