To water bearer about my puppy?

i don't think you know what you are talking about, because my dogs mother was Shitzu and Beagle, and weighed about 7 lbs The Father was Rott Shepard and Possibly Husky. She weighed approx. 2 lbs. out of womb, and was about 7 in. long. She has food at all times because she does not keep eating it. Yes she has been to the vet 2 times and is going again in January, Has had all vaccines and is heart worm preventatives. i do not know exact weight, approx. 10 to 12 lbs. She will defianetly not weigh any more than 25 lbs. If this helps you, Her paws are the size of a half dollar. Her ribs are not extremely visible, but minor visibility.

I presume you are trying to figure out if she is overweight.

It is extremely unlikely she weighed 2 pounds at birth. A German Shepherd, which typically weighs 60-90 pounds in adulthood typically weighs only one pound at birth.

Please do not try to gauge whether she is over or under weight by her weight on a scale. Each dog has a different body type and build. For example, I have one dog who is two inches taller than her mother, but weighs ten pounds less. Mother is built solid like a typical GSD and daughter is long and lanky like a sprinter.

Look at her from above. You should see a waist. Look at her from the side. Again you should see a waist (called a "tuck up"). When you touch her chest, you should feel her ribs without too much padding on them, but they should not be obviously visible when you just look at her chest.

If you think she is underweight, though she eats plenty, consider having her dewormed. If you think she is overweight, try playing with her more. Puppies often do look a little roly-poly, but they especially look pot-bellied when they have worms. As always, your own vet is the best judge of whether she is a good weight or not. So ask him in January.
