can i hook up an intercooler with a blow off valve with out the turbo for a civic hatch if possible?

A BOV doesn't have anything to do with the intercooler. When you off the throttle in a turbo car, pressurized air is still flowing through the charge tubes towards the intake manifold. But since the throttle body is closed, that air turns back around and tries to spin the turbo backwards, which over time causes damage to the turbo. A blow off valve releases that pressure to the atmosphere or recirculates it to prevent compressor surge. So the point is: without positive pressure (boost), a blow off valve would just stay closed. Your car, being n/a, operates under vacuum at all time. No positive pressure. So you wouldn't hear it.

As far as the intercooler is concerned: an intercooler lowers intake temperatures. It's great for turbo cars, because when you compress air, it gets hot, and the intercooler helps cool it down before it enters the cylinders, which helps prevent detonation. a n/a car won't really get any benefit from it.

If you are looking to look like an idiot, yes, you can duct tape in an intercooler and BOV. But you won't fool anyone.

well if u wanna look like an idiot, go for it. its a waste of time, money, and weight. you wont benefit at all from it, actually ur just adding weight so ur technically losing power. so dont do it
