Vaginal tearing from delivery...I think a stitch came undone?

I had my daughter five days ago and my bleeding from vaginal tearing was really lessening before I even left the hospital! I was back on a normal pad before we left instead of the adult diapers they give you. Well, in the last 24 hours I noticed an increased blood flow and pain in that area. I am now back to the "diapers" and having to change them every few hours. I called the doctor who delivered my daughter and who sewed me back up and explained everything...he told me to stay off my feet for the rest of the night...only problem is daughter was extremely fussy and I was not able to do this...after all, she is only five days old! Anyone have this problem or suggestions for what I can do to help it? Just as an FYI, I do not know how many stitches I had because they did not even tell me...I just know it took him awhile to stitch me up and I was told on the severity scale of 1-3 it was a 2. They did not have record of how many stitches I was given. Thanks for your help.

i had a 2 tear myself when i had my son...there is really nothing u can do for this except stay off ur feet as much as u can and elevate ur feet..dont cross ur legs..and eventually it will stop..try a sitz bath if u are really uncomfortable or that can they gave u of foam..ahh that spell instant relief especially when it starts healing and itching..also u can sit in lysol burns like a b*tch but it will make the pain go away..also wear thick pads at least until the worst of the bleeding is gone...be careful not to tear those stitches again..good luck hope this helps u

Well it's normal to bleed quite a lot after birth

Your hormones are unstable and still adjusting

As long as your not passing large clots it's perfectly normal

Your vagina must have torn badly

They might have had to cut it to allow your baby out

This will be quite sore for 2 months about

Try peeing in the bath it's meant to be a big relief and less painful

Take pain medication and you will slowly recover

    Good Luck

And well done on your new baby!

one million. Stitches coming undo can deliver approximately an infection, which will value you alot extra then $500 to repair and if the an infection if left untreated it may reason micro organism that can ultimately kill the canines. 2. could no longer you borrow some money from a pal or particularly to pay for the stitches to be redone? 3. do no longer use any human products without your very own vets suggestion as many human products are poisonous to canines and are at a distinctive Ph for our epidermis compaired to canines. So what we are able to apply for our bodies, might actually burn the canines epidermis
