Will the guitar hero world tour controller work with other guitar hero games?
I just got guitar hero world tour for christmas and was wondering if the controller for it would work with other guitar hero games because i really want the aerosmith one and the upcoming metallica one. :] Thanks

yes, the guitar will work with any guitar hero

Yes it is backwards compatible with guitar hero 3 and guitar hero earosmith and yes it will work with guitar hero metallica.Now if you have any guitar hero or rock band questions for new or old ask at my guitar hero and rock band email(made just for answering questions like these) i know everything and anything i don't know ill look up=)if ya got a question that no body else knows the awnsere....anythingguitarhero@gmail.com

yep, it will work because my freind has the guitar hero 3 guitar controler and uses it on guitar hero 3, guitar hero 2, and guitar hero world tour...
so it should work on those other ones too!

It will work with all GH games as long as they're for the same system. So, a PS3 GH: World Tour instrument will work with PS3 GH games.

i believe all the GTH guitars work with all other GTH games. The only thing that doesnt work is mixing Rock Band and GTH.
