One of my sweet ginger male Maine Coons was named Sir Reginald Winslow Bartholomeow Breffington-Smythe. Known primarily as Bartholomeow, we also called him Big Brave Baby Bars for short for most of his 23 years.
I had a deep red tabby whose 'M' above the eyes looked like flames. I named him Prometheus after the mythical God that brought the gift of fire to mankind.
The 3-legged buff colored, loudmouthed cat is named Lord Chatsworth Underfoot McBuff. We call him McBuff, McB, or McBully.
My rotund tuxedo is called Winston Churchill-Smith, for he looks like a picture I saw of Winston Churchill in a tux, and for Winston Smith who was the protagonist in Orwell's book, 1984. He is called Winston, Winnie, or Messr. Le Handsome.
Rusty is just plain Rusty, although he is frequently called Rustoleum, Pumpkin or Pumpkin Head. His name was originally Remax (?????) but he is a Turkish Van with ginger splotches on white, so Rusty just made so much more sense.
My point being, that each of my cats have names that suit them and that they uniquely respond to, and that came from living with them for a while, getting to know their personalities, and what they respond to. My Winnie was named Foster Harrison for 8 months, but he didn't respond to it. When I changed it to Winston, he immediately responded and comes when called.
Spend a little time with your cat getting to know him and what he responds to. Then, add another cool name or two, a fancy title, and a hyphen between two last names, and you have one whiz-bang name

Helen of Troy... It would be funny for a male cat. Or maybe Odysseus or Zeus or somthing. I like roman/Greek names for animals.
