The only way for green dye to be permanent is to never, ever wash your hair. Colors like green, blue, pink, orange, purple will fade quickly. Also, you have to have light hair (bleached) before applying the dye, or else it won't look like the color you want. To get green hair, you need to bleach your hair as light as you can get it, and then apply green dye, but keep applying the dye every couple of weeks to keep it looking bright.

manicpanic =) best choice.. no color last for ever the only dark color that wont ever leave your hair is black =) thats a fact....
anything lighter will fade and go away over time...
but you hair wont show green unless you bleach hair first=)..
unless you wanna go blond then so swiming every day for a week then add blue hair dyi and do the same and let it fade and blue again and then after so long it turns a dark muddy green but its nasty and looks so damage O.o <.<
