There is an entrance booth were you have to sign up, then just before the climb you'll see a small wooden sign on your left saying "Templo de la Luna, do not pass", this is an interesting road downhill on the backside of Wayna Picchu that takes you to small temple carved into the rock ledge (what's left of it ).

It's ok to go there when is dry (June-August), but they must have forbid it because when it rains the road must be dangerously slippery. Finaly I would like to say that if you look closely at any good picture of the Wayna Picchu, you can see that there's also a road that runs right in front of it in a downhill angle to the right end of it's silouete. Surely there is a guard post or maybe a sacred place at the end of that road but nobody has ever mentioned it still.
