1. Your answer was deleted for ranting overtones. What you posted in the answer was deemed a "fire-starter," and nearly caused a great deal of problems such as angering the wrong group of people.
2. There was no attempt to answer the question that was being asked by another user, so you incurred a "not a question or an answer" violation. All questions on this site must have proper answers and an attempt must be made to answer them properly.

Also, the smartest thing you should have done in both cases was not answer the "flame-starter" questions, but reported them instead. You wouldn't have to deal with the violations in either case.

What what I see your first answer was a question and not an answer. The second answer was not an answer but a statement about another answer. Both are "not an answer" violations. This is not a discussion forum. An answer must be a direct answer to the question.

I got a violation a few weeks back, I cant remember the question but my answer was ??????? How can you call that a violation?
