1. The Sneak Preview should be sometime in January as the booster set releases sometime in late January or early February.
2. Yes you have to pay. It is $20 for Open Dueling. The way it works is that you get 5 packs of Crimson Crisis and the Sneak Preview promo card (as of yet I don't know what it is). You open up the packs and build a 20 card deck with what you pull and you have to duel 5 times. You need to get the name and UDE number of the person you dueled and write it down on the blue card they will also give you when you get your packs. Once you fill out the card after your 5 duels, you then hand that in to the same people you got your packs from and you will get 1 bonus pack for playing. You can do this a maximum of 3 times. You don't really need to do all of that though as the judges don't check the cards or anything. So you can get your cards, open up the packs, make up a bunch of names and UDE numbers to write down on the blue card, then hand it in for your bonus pack. It'll be alot quicker if you are short on time, plus you'll get your packs quicker if you have the $60 to do it 3 times. Then there is the tournament which will cost you $25. It's basically the same where your get 5 packs and make your 20 card deck. The rest of the cards go into your side deck and you can't, under any circumstances use cards from your own collection. Only cards from the packs can be used. You are allowed to use one copy of the new promo. You then get paired up and play the tournament in Swiss format. It's usually 4 rounds and the best records after the 4 rounds will get bonus packs depending on your ranking. I believe as long as you make the Top 16 out of 32 you will get bonus packs depending on where you rank. I once get 15th and got 1 pack. I think 1st place gets about 4-6 packs.
3. You don't need to bring a thing with you except the money to play. You can bring your binders if you'd like to try and trade with people for some of the new cards. You'd also need sleeves to put your holos in. I believe they also have a regular tournament where all the new cards are legal and you can add them to your deck. So if you wanna play in that tournament then you'd need your deck. That costs about $7 to enter. Depending on what you plan on doing at the Sneak Preview will decide what you should bring. So make plans ahead of time.
4. No. That was only in the Kaiba Corp. Duelist City Tournament during the second season of Yugioh. There was never and never will be a tournament with those kind of rules. It's kind of illegal to play duels for cards. If you play with your friends and both parties agree to it, then it fine. It'll never happen in sanctioned tournaments though.

Yugioh sneak previews frequently function an upcoming p.c.. that wont be waiting to be offered in shops for no less than 2 greater weeks to the commonplace public. It costs basically a sprint of money, yet for going, you do recieve a unfastened promo card that's featured interior the p.c... Dont get excited although, because of the lost Millienium sneak preview, the cardboard given out because of the fact the classic kit card. you may aslo purchase and win packs of the featured booster p.c.. on the sneak previews besides.
