Christians, what would you do if the rapture did not happen?

If suddenly the Antichrist took over, and threatened to kill your children if you do not take the mark, would you take it to save your children.

Update:

ok, i want to get one thing straight, i never said that i believed in it, and i never said that my church did. However there are many churches that are teaching this.

Well, the rapture will not come until AFTER the Antichrist comes according to the last verses of Matthew 24. We each will have choices to make at that time-God, or our family. Remember how God told Abraham to sacrifice his child, when He tested him? If we are alive when the Antichrist comes, we may just be similarly tested.

    HI,

First off the Antichrist is a movement and not just one person. This movement involves anyone who does not believe in Christ as their Savior.

Yes, the church has once again mis-informed people about the end times. Please read Revelations 20:4-6 to find the truth.

The rapture comes after, Christians are persecuted and the mark is disbursed. If you look around in the world, people in many countries are enduring Christian persecution as we speak, but the mark has not been marketed yet. The times are now for all Christians who want to be in the new world. I urge you to read for yourself and find out what the bible exactly says. Priests will be judged, the same as you. Make sure you know whats in your bible.

    Wish you all the best

Michelle I don't have kids but if I did , No, I nor my children would take the mark , Whether the rapture takes place Pre tribulation, Mid tribulation ,post tribulation or not at all is of little significance when it comes to the primary focus of the Christian faith , Which is salvation through Christ Jesus, Many Christians don't believe in a rapture at all , And neither does believing it or not believing effect a persons salvation.

God bless & Merry Christ mas !

My church does not teach the Rapture, so I've never really believed in it. Thus, if it didn't happen, it wouldn't particularly come as a big surprise. The Rapture, and all "end-times" theology, is more of a Fundamentalist specialty. Not all Christian churches teach it. However, to answer the hypothetical question, I would consider taking the mark to save my loved ones. It would be the morally correct thing to do, rather than allowing others to suffer if I could somehow prevent it.

Even if the rapture didn't happen I would still serve God . No I would not take the mark! My Lord promises life! I would plead with my children not to take the mark! We are all in God's tender mercies! I feel that they would move on into everlasting life! God bless you!

The rapture is a myth. Jesus said that we will have tribulation. (John 16:33)

I will not take the mark, and neither will my children. (If I have any at the time)

My love for God is stronger than the love for my flesh.

Michelle I would have to say yes, I would save my children. Look what Jesus went through to save us. Hopefully God would forgive me. But I hope it don't come to that. God Bless

The rapture is NOT going to happen because it's a fictional happening made up by authors of some popular books. It is NOT biblical. I would do anything to save my son, yes.

Michelle: If the rapture didn't happen for you, I would suggest you get a better man.
