I love classical music, so instrumentation first. Actually, I like all types of music, but I rarely notice the lyrics.
With opera, however, it's the lyrics that move me first (and the power with which they are sung).

I would say a combination of both. However if the lyrics are good but the instrumentation is not pleasing, I would be less likely to listen to a song. Conversely if the lyrics are not interesting, but the instrumentation is good, I would be more likely to listen.

It depends, but usually the instrumentation. If the song really has an affect on me I'm more drawn to the lyrics.

when we listen to a good music, our mind wanders in the lands of dreams and often don't bother about lyrical values and instruments.

The instrumentals initially attract me to the song; but after that I will not listen to a song whose lyrics are dumb or against my beliefs.

i think of Prog and Tech steel take time to bare itself because it did for me. As you have reported some proceedings are long complicated songs yet whilst the band is familiar with what that's doing and is familiar with the place the song is going then there is not something incorrect with it being how this is. severe steel is extra on your face and easier if i will say and could be judged prompt extra desirable than Prog can, a minimum of for me. So yeah I have not any difficulty whilst the two combination properly. BQ - i will detect with the two types yet i'm gonna say Prog mixed with severe. BQ2 - Opeth, Nevermore, Ihsahn, Enslaved, Vintersorg for now this is.. BQ3 - Prog contains components that are distinguishable from tech. Tech has extra complicated and quicker riffs, while Prog has diverse components to that's song including acoustic, jazz, and so on. BQ4 - won't have the capacity to assert that i'm incredibly qualified to assert that's actually the Prog album as i haven't listened to as almost sufficient as i've got needed to. i will probable get TD for this, yet "Ghost Reveries" imo has an superb form of wonderful experimentation and musicianship and that i'm getting surprised each and each time I hear to it, as with something of their albums. yet this one incredibly stands out for me as being the final. it is not their heaviest album regardless of the undeniable fact that it has a groove that i haven't heard till now.

Depends on the song.
Mostly the lyrics.
