Check for malware
Download and update
The free versions can detect and remove
Malwarebytes AntiMalware

and
SuperAntiSpyware

Scan in Safe Mode(press f8 rapidly while booting and select safe mode)
Use Ccleaner(free) to fix registry errors and to clean your Hard drive
Disable any unneeded startup programs
Go to start>run>msconfig
Disable any you don't need
To check what a startup program is look here

Disable or switch to manual services
Go to start>run>services.msc

Look under Windows Services
Use the Disk Defragmenter
The Disk Defragmenter can be found at start>all programs>accessories>system tools>disk defragmenter
You also may need to add more RAM

There really is no such thing as a "quick fix" and their commercials are all "simulated results". There's only so much you can do remotely. It'd be a better investment to take your computer to a repair shop instead.

This is a lure for folks who don't know how to do their own maintenance tune ups.
I've seen nothing but bad reports about these shysters, including a rootkit installation.
Don't bother with them; one of the above replies has some good tips for tune ups.
