From what I have heard it depends on if you are breastfeeding or not. There has been controversy to this theory so I would consult a Dr. If you want to be sure.

You have to ovulate again in order to get pregnant again. Women that are breastfeeding don't ovulate postpartum for about 190 days. Breastfeeding releases hormones that postpones your ovulation.

You can find more information in the last link.

Women that are not breastfeeding the ovulation cycle can return as soon as 27 days postpartum up to 70-75 days. It really depends on the persons body. So there is no way of knowing exactly when or how soon you can get pregnant after.

Although you can get pregnant very soon after giving birth it is not recommended. There are a lot of complications that can happen and your body isn't really ready to carry another baby for at least 18 months after birth.

you may quite launch an egg and get pregnant returned as early as 2 or 3 weeks after transport! you may get pregnant whether your era has no longer decrease back; in many circumstances your era comes 2 weeks once you ovulate. Breastfeeding clearly decreases a female’s fertility. this gadget of fertility administration is stated as “Lactational Amenorrhea”, even with the shown fact that it is not a hundred% efficient, and might in basic terms be used for delivery administration IF the toddler is below 6 months previous and IF the toddler is being in basic terms breastfed at standard periods (i.e. no supplementations) and IF the female’s classes have not decrease back and if the toddler isn't sound asleep extra beneficial than 6 consecutive hours. Couples who actual prefer to steer clear of yet another being pregnant so quickly could evaluate including yet another contraceptive technique.

The first time you ovulate again it's possible... whether that be a week after giving birth or 10 months after. If you're nursing it's common to not ovulate again for a while after giving birth. Everyone's different so there's no real 'scientific answer'.

You could actually release an egg and get pregnant again as early as 2 or 3 weeks after delivery! You can get pregnant even if your period has not returned; usually your period comes 2 weeks after you ovulate.

3-4wks after giving birth you are physically able to get pregnant again. Most women who do not breastfeed will get a period 5-8wks after the birth and typically will ovulate two weeks prior to that. Breastfeeding can delay this but not always.

As soon as you pop that baby out you are once again fertile. So anytime that you have unprotected sex after birth you are chancing getting pregnant again.

After having baby , it is possible that pregnancy may occur because after pregnancy , the female womb is open and if with in that period, you have sex with the open womb the sperm will fertilize the egg and you will get pregnant. people often get pregnant during or after their cycle because the female reproductive part is active and open at that time . so it's the same thing that you will happen to you after pregnancy.

You could do it the next day but your body won't be ready for it. My daughter was 4 weeks and a day old when I got pregnant again (whoops) and so I'll have to be careful this pregnancy.

It's POSSIBLE to pretty much right away. It depends on how easily you personally get pregnant. Some women have a harder time.

Although, you should really wait about 6 weeks before resuming sexual activity.

    Good luck.
