can a RI be be pasted be contact?

I recently got dumeril with a RI. I put my redtail in the container that I brought the dumeril home in. I didn't even think of anything till I was taking out the redtail. I know it was very stupid. But can a RI be pasted by me putting the redtail in the dumeril container.

Yes you can. For this reason, all new snakes...especially one you knew was ill, should be quarantined for a minimum of 3 months. Hopefully your healthy redtail won't get an RI as well, but there is a good chance of it. Keep the animals in separate places, feed with different untensils and make sure you wash well before handling either of them.
