Well, if you really like the way your hair is now, then keep it-despite what your parents say. But, if you cut it, it would help clear out the pimples on your forehead. See, hair has a lot of oil in it, and if against skin for a long period of time, the oils can clog up your pores; creating a pimple. If you cut your hair, your pores will have a better chance of simmering down and getting cleaned out. If you want something to help clean your face, I suggest ProActiv or SkinID. These two products will help your skin even if you keep your hair long. You can't hide your pimples for ever. Everybody gets them!

    Good luck!

    i hope this helped!

You probably have a lot of zits on yuour forehead because your oily hair is rubbign against your forehead. Long hair looks tacky and unkept usually, brave it out, get it cut. It could help your skin, and you wont look like such a hobo by the time you go back to school. Besides, it will grow back.

Just putting it out there that actually cutting hair AWAY from pimples helps get rid of them (:

Went through the EXACT same scenario and it all worked out... Try telling your parents how YOU feel about it. Compromise-- you'll go get a TRIM, but not cut it to the point where it's going to make you unhappy.

your bangs could be the reason why you have pimples on your forehead, because all the oils in your hair. When i got my bangs my forehead broke out bad and i still have them.

well if you want to keep it just tell them no, that that is your style and you love the way it is

you may be surprised to know that your hair being on your face is causing alot of your acne problems. Go to your dr and talk to him or her about acne medicine to help you clear it up. i would cut your hair if i was you. I tell my brother this all the time. I hope this helps

maybe you could get them alone with you and try to explain CALMLY why you would like to keep it that way.

but you know why you have all those pimples on your forehead? it is because your hair is oily and it is covering it and your pores are clogged and cant clear up;)

    good luck;)

try a Japanese cut, with bangs covering your forehead, but dont get bangs (yet), if you want to take care of those pimples first.

because bangs covers up your forehead, and produces acne

    Source(s): have a jap. cut,

just tell them how you feel about the school stuff and everything. if they don't listen to you then maybe ask them to buy you some acne stuff to help that and then tell them you'll cut your hair if that clears up. i dont know your parents obviously but if you tell them how you feel i hope they will listen to you. good luck!

tell them that , if they don't understand , tell them it is your hair , and if you get it cut all your going to do is complain , and it would be a waste of their money

But in the end if you do end up having to get it cut , talk to your doctor about acne cream or pills for it , if you still don't feel comfortable with it .

    Hope i help :)
