How come I keep receiving the same Best Answer email?

Well, yahoo is aware of it.

It's a glitch, which is sending out BA notices for the same BA's every 40 min for BAs received in about a 12-hour time frame on Dec.26.

All BAs received after that are NOT getting notices at all!!!

However, you're still receiving your BA points including your TU points, just check

your activity details in your profile

or pay attention to how many points you have

There is unfortunately also no way to stop it, unless you mark them as spam until

yahoo has fixed the problem :-(

we do have an acknowledgment from a yahoo development employee on the suggestion board

please do_not open any new ones, as the more threads there are, the harder it is to read them

and the more work you add for the yahoo team to actually clean up

I think they have a problem at Yahoo. I have received 3 BA that show on my profile page but have not received the emails saying I did. Maybe you are getting my e\mails as well as your own! Just joking! Seriously they must be having a problem that is affecting different folks in different ways.

No way to stop them

Its a glitch for which yahoo cannot be bothered to stay open on the weekend to fix.

so just delete the emails and then sue yahoo for the emotional distress it caused you

hi Smiley, comparable element is occurring to me too. previously each little thing i presumed i became into getting Yahoo love from my contacts,then all of them became out to be from an identical question =( i assume my answer became into so superb that yahoo felt the might desire to maintain telling me quite a few circumstances over =P EDIT- 6 circumstances so a methods.WOW, Yahoo could rather be inspired with my answer EDIT- Now 7 circumstances EDIT- as much as ten now =) edit-12....12....12 E-mails stating my answer became into picked as suited answer (ok, that became into an exceedingly undesirable Sesame street "the count variety" impersonation) EDIT- yet another 12 over evening, i'm now at 24 EDIT- 28 EDIT-34 WOW Yahoo could have rather enjoyed my answer =)

It is a glitch that will be fixed on monday, i have received over 150 best answer e-mails since friday. Hope my answer was helpful?

well probably u have good answers u have answered to a question and probably they like it a lot because it helps people and sometimes it gives good advice.like what am typing.but if this does not work then probably its not what i really expected it to be.u get the point of what i mean.try figuring what i really mean.u might know why u get goo answers.

yes, yahoo is aware of this many people have been getting this including me i have been getting like 400 of them and this is a glitch in the system they are working on it, so we have to be patient while they fix it i guess.

But it's some bug that Yahoo Answers is experiencing.
