4. Finish writing a book that I can be proud of, whether or not it gets published

5. Become a wizard (or for those of the other gender a witch)

6. Face down a charging bull

7. Own a longsword (and know how to use it!)

8. Go windsurfing

9. Try a pickle

10. Own my own island

My list is long - here are a few:

Have and successfully raise a child

Write and publish at least one book

Find true happiness (I'm Buddhist - so this is kind of part of the deal)

Learn a foreign language (somehow I'm about to earn a Ph.D. but never learned another spoken language - only 5 years of latin in high school and college)

Live in a foreign country

Run a marathon (or at least a 1/2)

Scuba dive

Start a school (possibly in a foreign country)
