Breed laws in illinois.?
I have been hearing a few things latley about a new law in illinois. The law states that a convicted felon cannot own certin dog breeds. (rotts,pitbulls,doberman...ect) I am a convicted felon (i was dumb when i was a kid) but i also have 4 pitbulls. My dogs arent aggresive and are well trained. Im not too sure what to do about this i dont think i could handle getting rid of them.

Contact a local lawyer in your area. They should be able to inform you of these new laws and help you with keeping your pets. Lawyers are great for finding loop holes in the system. You may just have to prove that your pets have been altered. Ask a lawyer though to know for sure.
