Help on buying a dvd recorder with tuner?

Need to know which brand to buy, have antenna tv, need something simple to hook up like vcr, dvd MUST have a tuner

    I bought a magnavox DVD recorder with VCR with digital tuner for about $179 at Walmart. Just now setting it up. I had to also buy an RF tuner box since I have only one cable connection at the back of my TV. It cost about $17 at Walmart.

    It is working pretty good.

    in case you desire to computer screen or record shows on the VCR/DVD recorder, then a tuner is needed. without a tuner, all you would be waiting to do is watch a VHS or DVD. this is intense-high quality to have a digital tuner on the recorder, yet you do no longer desire it.

    All DVD recorders have tuners.

    If they didn't, they couldn't record anything...
